A Growing Weariness

Most of these teachings originate from personal experience, watching others go through trials and hard times, or just weighing biblical principles against (the discrepancies) that you see being modeled out in front of you. Whether it be in others, or the mirror of the Holy Spirit reveals personal patterns to you, if we are not careful, all of us can find ourselves operating in this mindset. After completing this article, I was saddened to realize that this could easily be a lesson about myself and my spiritual journey. Not a realization that made me smile.

In our church GCF West there is a common phrase “Are you a son, or a slave”, in reference to our servitude in the Church as well as to perspective in your relationship with Christ in general. I bring that up, because we all know how easy we can lose perspectives, in our service, and even in our call if we lose sight of the end goal, which is Christ glorified! Life will throw anything it can at us to push us off of our target, to bring us down and the least physically drain you.

But we are to be supernatural in Christ, without being superhuman, A BIG DIFFERENCE!! A paradigm shift for many to grasp. But it is the key to running clear of burnout, fatigue, and weariness. As always, It is my prayer that this has challenged you to have a stronger open relationship with God.
